ELISA ZERTUCHE

ABOUT

This life and art… constant learning…

Elisa Zertuche, Monterrey, N. L. Mexico. 1970

My adventure in the world of art began in 2003 by participating in the workshop of Master and Painter Judith Perez very interested in using the scrap generated in the production of sheet metal parts. When watching a piece of scrap imagined colors, textures over and around it. I loved the idea of expressing on canvas.

Observing, Imagining, Portraying…
Ideas, Feelings, Emotions…

Deeply interested in different cultures and ways of life, in my travels find lots of inspiration for my artworks.

I enjoy using different techniques either Steel Collages, Acrylic, Oil, or Tempera.

Participating from 2012 to 2013 in the workshop 1+1+1 directed by the Master and Painter Ximena Subercaseaux.
Always in constant learning both life experiences and art, discovering in each new artwork how to interpret ideas and convey emotions.

Similar to a baton who is passionately directed by his Master to coordinate the orchestra… So I imagine running the brush through the canvas, drawing sensible, focused, coordinating colors like intense vibrations and bass tones ways to make sense of my works.
